When Senators accept that Kagan will be confirmed because "elections have consequences", let us remind these Senators that elections also have obligations. If evidence continues to surface suggesting that Kagan is an inappropriate choice for our country's highest court, it is the duty and obligation of each and every Senator to reject that confirmation.
When one party is in the majority, the other party must not secede its obligations and responsibilities to our ctizens and our nation!
